It was my first time at the Forum yesterday and it was good to go along. Impressive turnout despite the somewhat inclement weather! Hard to make a very informed judgement on the basis of just going once, but seemed like the Council Officers really do want to engage with the city's cyclists about provision and policy, so this is a good way of trying to have some influence.

BCC are evidently doing a good job via the Forum in getting the Council to consider a properly ambitious cycling strategy for the city. And it was useful to have First Bus along to talk about how they train divers to deal with cyclists on the roads. Some way to go in developing that relationship, but fair play to them for coming and opening the conversation.

The minutes will be available on the Council site at http://www.bristol.gov.uk/page/transport-and-streets/cycle-forum so have a look in a few days.
